Kerala Honeymoon Tour

Destinations Covered in Tour : Mumbai - Cochin - Munnar - Periyar - Kumarakom - Marari

Day 01: Arrive Mumbai
Arrive Mumbai International Airport by flight.
Meet by our representative with warm welcome like garlanding on arrival and shift to hotel for overnight.

Day 02: Mumbai
After having breakfast, you will be taken to the Elephanta Caves by ferry service which is basically available for these island visits.

Elephanta Caves - The rock-cut Hindu shrines at Elephanta, an island 12km across the harbor provide glimpses of Indian sculpture that dates back to 7th century. Huge pillars depict scenes from the Hindu mythology relating to Lord Shiva, the central one being the most imposing one - a five meter bust of the God, represents his three aspects as creator, preserver and destroyer. Some of them broke by the rulers of that time.

After visiting the island, we will take ferry service which takes about an hour to reach the harbor again for watching the other beautiful places of Mumbai.

Afternoon sightseeing tour of Mumbai.

Mumbai - Capital of the state of Maharashtra and perhaps the most important commercial and trade centre of India, Mumbai is one of the mega cities of the INDIA with huge amount of population. Urban agglomeration is the highest in this city. As the world's largest textile market, a major industrial center, the seat of Indian film industry (said to be the Bollywood) and country's busiest port handling over 40 percent of India maritime trade, Mumbai is said to be the city of dreams and fortunes. Mumbai has no recorded ancient past. Gateway of India is the main attraction of this city. This is the main point while coming towards the harbour. The highlights of Mumbai are Prince of Wales Museum built to commemorate George V's first visit to India in 1905 and houses collections of Indian sculpture, miniature paintings and Nepalese and Tibetan art, Flora Fountain, St. Thomas Cathedral, fashion street, Chor Bazaar (Thieves' market), Marine Drive, juhu chaupati, Malabar Hills, India’s largest essel world, fish market, Hanging Gardens & Kamla Nehru Park. After the full day journey, stay back to the hotel for the whole night.

Day 03: Mumbai - Cochin - Munnar
After having breakfast, you will be transfer to domestic airport for flight to Cochin.
On arrival, you will be met by our representative of munnar who will address you about the place and then drive to Munnar 135 kms. On reaching munnar, check-in at hotel.

Day 04: Munnar
After taking breakfast, our cab will be ready for you to explore Munnar.

Munnar - Largely covered by tea plantations, this little hill resort offers awe-inspiring scenery. Situated at an altitude of 1525 meters, this town, 135 km from Cochin, has an enliven climate. There are many colonial bungalows and buildings in Munnar. There are many waterfalls and lakes which gives you the feeling of heaven. Also, there are fascinating high ranges, lakes and streams and gorgeous views of stratocumulus clouds and mist-filled valleys. After visiting these things, Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Munnar - Periyar Drive 110 Kms
After having some South-Indian breakfast, we will drive to Periyar. On reaching there, first check-in to hotel and take some rest. In afternoon get on the boat cruise to visit Periyar Sanctuary.

Periyar – Spread-eagled over an area of 777 sq. km, this wildlife sanctuary has about 35 tigers and leopards. This wildlife sanctuary is situated in the hills of the Western Ghats in the state of Kerala. The park encompasses a 26 sq. km artificial lake and is the home of sambars, wild boars, elephants and antelopes which can be occasionally seen on the banks of the river during a boat cruise. Artificial lake is the main attraction. Periyar, otherwise, blessed by nature has huge amount of tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantations and has luxuriant greenery. Then get back to the hotel for night stay.

Day 06: Periyar - Kumarakom
After taking breakfast, we will go to Kumarakom. On reaching there, check-in to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel after this long journey.

Day 07: Kumarakom
Day free for independent activities & overnight.

Day 08: Kumarakom - Alleppey - Marari
After breakfast enjoy backwater cruise Kottayam to Alleppey.
Boat Cruising on the backwaters of Kerala:- is one of the most scoop shovel experiences. While cruising, boats cross dazzling freshwater lakes, streams, lagoons and travel along narrow shady canals providing glimpses of small settlements on the narrow land - shops, schools and trading on boats and flourishing rice fields. These backwaters are fed by the vast network of the 44 rivers of the state. These canals are well connected between Kottayam - Alleppey - Changancherry - Quilon and Kumarakom on the edge of Asthamudi Lake. The luscious backwaters of Kerala begin from this scenic town.
On arrival at Alleppey, drive to Mararikulam (15 kms), check-in to hotel for overnight.

Day 09: Marari
Free day for independent activities like shopping, grooming etc.

Day 10: Marari
Again, 10th day will be free for independent activities & overnight.

Day 11: Marari - Cochin
After breakfast drive to Cochin. On arrival check-in to hotel. After taking some rest,
evening sunset cruise in Cochin & overnight stay in hotel.

Day 12: Cochin - Mumbai Flight
On day 12, Morning sightseeing tour of Cochin which includes commercial and trade center of Kerala, it is one of the world's optimum natural harbors. Cochin (Kochi) is a gateway for Kerala and is famous for Mattancherry (Dutch) Palace, St. Francis Church, Wellington Island, Bolghatty Island, Chinese Fishing nets and Jewish Synagogue. Cruising on the backwaters provides quick look of the rural life, fine view of the harbor and three islands.
